Full Job Description

Position Title : HR Manager

General Responsibilities :

1. Oversees training and office management.

2. Manages employee relations, including employee complaints, investigations, performance management, etc.

3. Performs routine tasks and monitor/maintain HR programs including training, development, and occupational safety and health.

4. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

5. Assists with the hiring need as required and works with third-party vendors on benefits

administration.

6. Determines the competency requirements for each job (i.e., job descriptions).

7. Attends recruiting events, job fairs, and company promotional opportunities.

8. Performs periodic evaluation of compensation structure and programs to ensure that it is equitable, effective, and competitive within the market.

9. Maintains weekly manager meetings and staff meetings regarding task delegation,

inspections of work, and information sharing.

10. Maintains open-door policy for company employees and routinely informally solicits employee feedback.

11. Conducts exit interviews to determine reasons for the resignation, reports the results to

management, and recommends resolutions if needed.

12. Stays current with employment and labor laws and HR trends.

13. Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems;

evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solutions; coaching and counseling

managers and employees.

14. Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and evaluates administrative functions and

performance.

15. Bids, selects, negotiates, approves, and updates administrative contracts (e.g., purchases, worker's compensation, 401(k), benefit plans, placement agencies, recruiters, etc.).

Qualifications :

 Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources, Communication, or relevant field required.

 5~10 years of experience in human resources (4+ years of management experience

preferred).

 Solid working knowledge of human resources laws and regulations.

 PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP Certification preferred.

 Experience with a company with 300+ employees.

 Operating knowledge of Windows and MS Office Suite.

 Industry exposure with manufacturing, production, or related private service organization.

 Experience in implementation of human resources programs by providing HR services,

including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and

welfare planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations.

 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
