About Us: At Ocean Front RV Resort, we pride ourselves on offering a welcoming and enjoyable RV park for oil and gas professionals and RV enthusiasts. Our RV parks consists of 291 RV lots and 11 Rentals spaced over 29 acres. Nestled in the heart of Kermit, TX, our RV park features many amenities and a friendly atmosphere. We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented maintenance professional to join our team and contribute to the healthy operation and appeal of our RV park.
Job Description: We are seeking a 1-2 dedicated and skilled maintenance positions to join our team at Ocean Front RV Resort. You will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our RV park. Your attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences will be crucial in this role. We are open to part time and full time positions.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to repairing electrical and plumbing issues, to ensure the smooth operation of facilities within the RV park.
Repairs: Address and resolve maintenance requests promptly, ranging from minor electrical and plumbing repairs to overseeing major repairs if needed.
Groundskeeping: Maintain the park grounds, including fences, gates, mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, and cleaning common areas to create a visually appealing and safe environment for guests.
Pool Maintenance: Perform pool maintenance activities to keep our pool pristine and inviting.
Equipment Management: Monitor and maintain park equipment, such as tools, supplies, golf cart to ensure they are in good working condition.
Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies, submit purchase requests when necessary.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance projects.
Guest Assistance: Provide friendly and helpful assistance to guests with maintenance-related issues, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.
Emergency Response: Manage and respond to maintenance emergencies, even outside regular business hours.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations, identifying and mitigating potential hazards to maintain a secure environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in general maintenance, construction, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in electrical and plumbing maintenance.
- Pool maintenance certification preferred or willingness to acquire pool certification.
- Liquid propane distribution certification preferred or willing to acquire liquid propane certification (I Cylinder Filling & Service Station certification)
- HVAC experience is preferred.
- Problem Solver: Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to find effective solutions.
- Detail-Oriented: Dedication to maintaining properties to the highest standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team management and resident interactions.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks from time to time.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 45.0 per week
