Schedule: Monday through Thursday | Offices are closed Friday through Sunday — enjoy a three-day weekend every week.

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping others, and is excited to learn every aspect of private practice optometry. This is a hybrid role that combines front desk reception responsibilities with hands-on patient care as an Optometric Technician.

No two days are exactly alike. Depending on the needs of the practice, you'll rotate between reception and clinical responsibilities.
Reception Responsibilities
- Welcome every patient with warmth and professionalism
- Answer incoming phone calls and text messages
- Schedule appointments and verify patient information
- Check patients in and out
- Collect payments and explain financial policies
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Help keep the front office organized and running efficiently
Optometric Technician Responsibilities
- Obtain medical histories and chief complaints
- Perform preliminary testing using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Measure visual acuity and complete workups for the doctor
- Educate patients about testing and procedures
- Assist with contact lens training when appropriate
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
- Assist providers in delivering an exceptional patient experience

Previous optometric or healthcare experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right person with an outstanding attitude.
