A well-established CPA firm in the Greensburg area is seeking a personable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join its collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with experienced CPAs and partners in a relaxed, professional office environment serving a variety of clients. Candidates with public accounting experience are strongly preferred, but recent graduates with the right foundation may also be considered.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple client accounts

The Bookkeeper will process payroll and prepare payroll tax filings

Maintain financial records using QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop

The Bookkeeper will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance

Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets to support client accounting needs

Assist with tax-related projects as needed

The Bookkeeper will work additional hours during tax season when necessary

Preferred Qualifications for the Bookkeeper Role:

Public accounting experience preferred

Experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop

Knowledge of payroll tax preparation and filings required

Tax preparation experience is a plus

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Degree preferred but not required; relevant experience will also be considered

Professional, personable, and able to work effectively with clients and team members
