Fire Sprinkler Fitter / Foreman Join a Team That Invests in Your Future

Responsibilities
- Install, modify, repair, and maintain wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and residential fire sprinkler systems.
- Lead and supervise installation crews while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety.
- Read and interpret blueprints, fire sprinkler shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and project specifications.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and daily project schedules.
- Install threaded, grooved, welded, CPVC, and underground fire protection piping.
- Perform hydrostatic testing, flushing, troubleshooting, repairs, and system modifications.
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA standards, California Fire Code, local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements, and company quality standards.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, timecards, material requests, and project documentation.
- Train and mentor apprentices and junior fitters.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Communicate professionally with customers, inspectors, project managers, general contractors, and fellow employees.
- Promote and enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
- Participate in occasional emergency service calls and after-hours work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial fire sprinkler installation experience.
- Previous Foreman or crew leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler installation practices and fire protection systems.
- Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate field installations.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Valid California Driver License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work from ladders, lifts, rooftops, and in confined spaces.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- California State Fire Marshal (CAL FIRE/OSFM) Fire Sprinkler Fitter Certification preferred.
- NICET Certification is a plus.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
- Experience with underground fire service mains, backflow preventers, fire pumps, and special hazard fire protection systems.
- Experience performing NFPA 25 fire sprinkler inspections, testing, and maintenance is a plus, but not required.

Compensation Competitive hourly wage based on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
