Job Summary

As a Corporate Business Analyst II, you will serve as a liaison and collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their business needs and requirements. You will serve an integral role in the System Development Life Cycle. You will use your analytical skills to bridge the business processes with either existing software applications or potential new purchases. Become a part of team that is committed to delivering exceptional customer service, innovation and value to our policyholders.

Responsibilities

Provide support for the development and implementation of strategic technology initiatives.
Serve an integral role in the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle); accountable for analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, understanding system capabilities, and writing specifications.
Participate proactively with scrum team members including production owners, developers, and quality assurance staff to be an effective liaison between stakeholders company wide

Qualifications

4-year degree required.
Certifications: CCBA or CBAP preferred.
Experience in the P&C Insurance domain, specifically in underwriting, billing, or claims departments working as a business development or processing expert is preferred.
Experienced user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint).
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups.

This position will allow for remote work in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, & Virginia. Applicant may be required to travel to Montgomery corporate headquarters at supervisor’s request for meetings and/or training sessions.
