Full Job Description

Role Description:

Digital Photo Academy is seeking a reliable, organized individual with photography experience to join our team as an Office & Social Media Assistant. This is a part-time, in-person position based in our Newburgh, NY office.

In this role, you'll help grow our photography-focused social media presence while also assisting with day-to-day office operations. You'll work directly with our team to engage our online community, support administrative tasks, and contribute to the daily operations of Digital Photo Academy.

Digital Photo Academy maintains a growing online community of more than 190,000 photography enthusiasts across multiple social media platforms.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys photography, social media, and working in a collaborative office environment.

Schedule:

Part-time: 10 hours per week
You have the flexibility to set your own schedule throughout the week, as long as you complete a total of 10 hours each week.
This is an in-office position. Remote work is not available.

Please note: Our office is home to a cat. If you have cat allergies, please take this into consideration before applying.

Qualifications:

Photography experience.
Strong written communication skills.
Comfortable using social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Basic computer and office skills.
Friendly, professional, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities may include:

Social Media

Help build audience engagement and increase traction across Digital Photo Academy's social media platforms.
Write captions and posts for Facebook and Instagram.
Respond to comments and engage with our online photography community.
Schedule and publish social media content.
Assist with promoting workshops, instructors, and photography-related content.
Contribute photography and photography-related content when appropriate.

Office & Administrative Support

Assist with general office organization and daily administrative tasks.
Help with data entry and maintaining records.
Provide support for ongoing projects and office operations.
Perform other basic administrative duties as needed.
