Overview

We’re looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional bookkeeping support.

Duties

Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks
Manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform bank reconciliations with precision
Prepare journal entries, perform general ledger accounting, and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify accuracy of financial data
Assist in budgeting processes and generate detailed financial reports for management review
Reconcile accounts through double entry bookkeeping, ensuring all debits & credits are accurately recorded
Support month-end closing activities by preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations
Maintain and prepare DOT paperwork for company vehicles
Sales Tax Reporting

Experience

Proven bookkeeping experience with a strong understanding of accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online, or similar software
Solid knowledge of accounting standard
Familiarity with public accounting procedures and financial concepts including journal entries, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
Demonstrated ability to handle accounts payable/receivable processes efficiently and accurately
Strong proficiency in spreadsheets and other financial software tools to analyze data effectively
Knowledge of GAAP standards and double entry bookkeeping principles to ensure compliance and accuracy

Pay: $25.90 - $31.19 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Rock Hill, NY 12775
