Full Job Description

We are looking for a tax preparer to join our company, training to be provided.

You’ll work closely with our Tax Supervisors to calculate client taxes including returns, liabilities, deductions, and expenses. You’ll review the accuracy of data on tax forms based on all tax rules and regulations. To succeed in this role, it’s important to have the ability to analyze complex data while utilizing your mathematical skills.

This role is open to all professionals interested in pursuing a role in public accounting.

Job description

Preparation of federal and state income taxes for individuals, businesses, trusts, estates, and exempt organizations.
Preparation of various accounting and bookkeeping engagements.
Manages multiple client deliverables, meeting budgets and production goals.
Develops knowledge of client business.

Experience

Bachelor's degree (a plus)
1-2 years prior experience in public accounting, tax, or accounting experience plus but not required.
Capable of administering GAAP and tax preparation standards and concepts to client engagements.
Strong accounting and analytical skills.
Strong computer skills: Experience with CCH Engagement / Axcess a plus but not required.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented & able to multi-task.
