SKY DINE & CORRECT CHOICE
A NEW, GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO ADVANCE YOUR FINANCIAL CAREER…
Do you bring the financial expertise to guide growth—and the business instincts to understand what drives it? Sky Dine and Correct Choice are currently seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team and serve as a trusted strategic partner to ownership. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity within a dynamic, privately held, multi-state food service organization with a diverse portfolio that includes airport concessions, restaurants, franchise and licensed-brand concepts, institutional and correctional food service, and other hospitality ventures.
As CFO, you'll do more than oversee the numbers. You'll help shape strategy, strengthen financial infrastructure, develop the finance team, evaluate growth opportunities, and provide the insight needed to make sound business decisions.
With numerous corporations and LLCs operating across multiple states and locations, this role offers the opportunity to lead in an environment that is both complex and entrepreneurial—and to help build the financial organization needed for the company's next stage of growth.
What You'll Do:
-
Serve as a strategic financial advisor to ownership and executive leadership, providing insight and recommendations on growth, capital, risk, and major business decisions.
-
Lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash management, and financial planning.
-
Lead and develop Controllers, Accountants, and other finance professionals, building a high-performing team positioned for future growth.
-
Oversee consolidated and entity-level financial reporting across multiple corporations, LLCs, locations, concepts, and states.
-
Develop budgets, forecasts, financial models, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting that provide clear visibility into performance.
-
Analyze profitability by company, location, contract, restaurant, and concept, identifying opportunities to strengthen financial and operational results.
-
Partner with operational leaders on labor, food costs, inventory, purchasing, pricing, margins, productivity, and other key business drivers.
-
Lead financial analysis for new contracts, acquisitions, franchise opportunities, capital investments, new locations, and other growth initiatives.
-
Oversee banking relationships, debt, liquidity, working capital, capital planning, and treasury activities.
-
Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, approval processes, and risk-management practices.
-
Oversee tax, audit, insurance, regulatory, franchise, and licensed-brand financial requirements in partnership with outside advisors.
-
Evaluate and improve financial systems, reporting tools, technology, processes, and automation to support continued scalability.
-
Participate in acquisition due diligence, financial integration, and new-entity formation as opportunities arise.
-
Serve as a senior leader of the corporate office, promoting accountability, collaboration, and alignment between corporate functions and field operations.
What We're Looking For:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
-
Significant progressive financial leadership experience, ideally at the Senior Controller, VP of Finance, or CFO level.
-
Demonstrated success leading accounting and finance teams and overseeing multiple legal entities.
-
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and internal controls.
-
Experience within a multi-location and/or multi-state organization.
-
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
-
Exceptional leadership, analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
-
High degree of integrity, discretion, accountability, and sound judgment.
-
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve as the organization grows.
We'd especially value:
-
CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar advanced credential.
-
Food service, restaurant, hospitality, airport concessions, institutional food service, correctional food service, or another multi-unit operating environment experience.
-
Franchise or licensed-brand operations.
-
Experience in acquisitions, contracts, new business opportunities, capital investments, or expansion initiatives.
-
Restaurant365, Revel, or comparable accounting, ERP, reporting, or POS platforms.
-
Financial systems implementation, dashboards, business intelligence, and process automation.
-
Privately held, entrepreneurial, or family-owned organizations.
What We Offer:
- Competitive compensation range of $180,000 - $230,000 (based upon qualifications and experience)
-
Health, dental, and vision insurance at affordable rates
-
Holiday & Paid Time Off (PTO)
-
401(k) with company-matching
-
Voluntary supplemental insurance benefits available (Aflac)
-
Professional development opportunities
What Makes You Successful:
You'll be a strategic financial leader with strong operational instincts—someone equally comfortable discussing consolidated results with ownership, evaluating the economics of a new opportunity, challenging a forecast, developing the finance team, or working alongside an operating leader to understand why a location isn't performing as expected.
You'll be hands-on without becoming transactional, strategic without losing sight of execution, and confident enough to provide an independent financial perspective while remaining highly collaborative.
Most importantly, this is an opportunity to have a meaningful voice in the future of the organization—helping build the financial talent, systems, discipline, and infrastructure needed to support its next chapter of growth.
Ready to make an impact beyond the numbers? We want to hear from you!
