Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in blueprint reading, metal fabrication, and mechanical assembly.

Duties

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes
Perform MIG, TIG, welding with precision, ensuring compliance with ASME codes & standards
Fabricate metal components using sheet metal work, plasma cutting, press brake machines, and machining tools to meet project specifications
Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments for accurate fabrication and assembly
Operate forklifts, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other equipment safely to support fabrication tasks
Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks during production processes

Qualifications

Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, welding techniques.
Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and mechanical assembly
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment
Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices
