The Logistics Delivery Supervisor supports Altruix’s pharmacy logistics operations by overseeing delivery route coordination, ensuring the timely and accurate transportation of medications, and maintaining communication between the logistics team, pharmacy sites, and delivery personnel. This role plays a key part in supporting operational efficiency, safety, compliance, and exceptional service to both internal and external partners.
This position reports directly to the Regional Logistics Manager and provides oversight to Fleet Drivers. The Logistics Delivery Supervisor will support daily logistics operations across Altruix pharmacy locations and serve as a key resource for routing, scheduling, and operational issue resolution.
This is an onsite role based in Uniontown, PA, supporting a fast-paced pharmacy logistics environment with occasional travel between pharmacy locations as needed.
Compensation for this role ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure on-time delivery to clients by coordinating fleet resources, monitoring routes and driver status, and proactively adjusting plans for emergent or high-priority deliveries
- Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet drivers, managing routing, scheduling, delivery issues, and escalation of delays or concerns to leadership
- Provide professional leadership through effective communication, accountability, and collaboration to support a cohesive, safety-focused team culture
- Identify, investigate, and resolve delivery, routing, and operational issues while recommending process improvements
- Track, document, and report delivery performance, vehicle utilization, and operational metrics using Excel and system databases
- Support fleet operations through vehicle maintenance coordination, inspection tracking, and recordkeeping
- Perform driver duties when operationally necessary
- Assist with hiring, training, performance evaluations, and development of company drivers
- Reinforce company safety standards, compliance expectations, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
- Respond promptly to internal and external communications
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, dispatching, fleet coordination, or delivery operations
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within a healthcare, pharmacy, or LTC logistics environment
- Working knowledge of route optimization software and fleet management systems
- Experience coordinating multiple drivers and delivery schedules across locations
