Senior Digital Marketing Specialist / Marketing Manager
Pay: $52,108.67 - $60,000.00 per year
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 days per week
Work Location: In person — No remote or hybrid option
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Digital Marketing Specialist / Marketing Manager to manage our in-house digital marketing, advertising, lead generation, and online presence.
This is not an entry-level or social-media-only position. We need someone with hands-on experience managing Google Ads/PPC, Google Local Services Ads (Google Guaranteed), SEO, Google Analytics (GA4), conversion tracking, lead attribution, website performance, and paid social campaigns.
The ideal candidate understands that successful marketing is not measured by clicks, impressions, or likes alone. You must be able to determine where leads are coming from, what they cost, which campaigns are producing qualified opportunities, why campaigns are or are not performing, and what needs to change.
You must be comfortable analyzing data, identifying problems, and pivoting quickly when a campaign, ad, keyword, landing page, or marketing channel is underperforming.
Experience in countertops, marble/granite/quartz, kitchen & bath, interior design, remodeling, construction, or home improvement is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Google Ads/PPC campaigns, including keywords, negative keywords, search terms, bidding, budgets, geographic targeting, ad copy, and landing pages.
- Manage and optimize Google Local Services Ads / Google Guaranteed, including lead quality, budgets, service areas, rankings, reviews, responsiveness, and performance.
- Use Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager to track traffic, conversions, phone calls, form submissions, and other important customer actions.
- Maintain accurate lead attribution and identify whether leads are coming from PPC, Google Guaranteed, organic search, social media, referrals, direct traffic, or other sources.
- Track key KPIs including cost per lead, conversion rate, cost per click, CTR, lead quality, ROI/ROAS, and overall campaign performance.
- Identify underperforming campaigns quickly and make data-driven changes to improve results and reduce wasted advertising spend.
- Manage SEO and Local SEO, including keyword research, Google Business Profile, website optimization, content, rankings, and competitor research.
- Manage and improve our website/landing pages with a focus on lead generation and conversion optimization.
- Manage paid advertising on Facebook/Instagram/Meta and other appropriate platforms.
- Create or coordinate digital advertisements, website graphics, social content, email campaigns, promotions, project content, and other marketing materials.
- Work directly with management and sales staff to determine which marketing leads are actually becoming qualified opportunities and customers.
- Provide clear performance reporting showing what is working, what is not working, why, and what should be done next.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of professional digital marketing experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience managing Google Ads/PPC campaigns is required.
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and lead attribution.
- Experience with Google Local Services Ads / Google Guaranteed strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of SEO, Local SEO, Google Business Profile, and search engine marketing.
- Experience tracking marketing spend, cost per lead, conversions, lead quality, and ROI/ROAS.
- Ability to analyze data and explain why a campaign is succeeding or failing, not simply report numbers.
- Ability to make quick, informed adjustments when campaigns are underperforming.
- Experience with WordPress or similar website platforms preferred.
- Experience with Meta/Facebook/Instagram advertising preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar design tools preferred.
- CRM, call-tracking, and lead-management experience is a plus.
- Strong written communication, organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.
Industry Experience Preferred
Experience in marble, granite, quartz, countertops, kitchen & bath, cabinetry, interior design, construction, remodeling, flooring, tile, or home improvement is highly preferred.
Candidates with this background should understand how homeowners research and purchase high-ticket products and services and how to market effectively to local customers.
What We're Looking For
We need someone who takes ownership of marketing performance.
If cost per lead increases, you should investigate why. If an ad stops converting, you should identify the problem. If one campaign is outperforming another, you should recognize the opportunity and recommend where the budget should go.
You should be able to answer:
- Where are our leads coming from?
- How much are we paying for each lead?
- Which ads, keywords, and campaigns generate the best leads?
- Which campaigns are wasting money?
- Why did performance improve or decline?
- What should we change next?
We are looking for someone who can analyze, execute, test, optimize, and make decisions — not someone who simply launches ads or posts on social media.
In-Person & Attendance Requirements
This is a full-time, in-person position 5 days per week. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Candidates must have:
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to consistently arrive on time and ready to work.
- Ability to work closely with management, sales, design, and other team members.
- Ability to manage responsibilities without constant supervision.
Compensation
$52,108.67 - $60,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Please do not apply if your marketing experience is primarily limited to social media posting or content creation. This position requires hands-on experience with performance marketing, paid advertising, analytics, lead tracking, SEO, and campaign optimization.
When applying, please be prepared to discuss specific Google Ads campaigns you have managed, your experience with GA4 and Google Guaranteed/LSA, how you track lead sources and ROI, and examples of campaigns you personally improved.
