Customer Service Representative & Social Media Manager

Location: Jefferson City, TN
Schedule: 8:30am - 5pm Monday through Friday
Pay Range: $40,000 – $60,000 per year (first-year team members)

Booker Insurance Agency is a customer-first insurance agency focused on helping families and businesses protect what matters. We’re growing and looking for a positive, coachable, and outgoing team member who can support our clients and help manage the agency’s social media presence.

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative & Social Media Manager will assist existing customers with policy-related requests, billing questions, and appointment setting—while also helping manage and run the agency’s social media accounts.

No prior insurance experience is required. We’ll provide training and coaching for the insurance side of the role.

Primary Responsibilities

Customer Service & Agency Support

Assist existing customers with policy changes and updates
Answer billing questions and help resolve customer needs
Set appointments for the sales team based on customer requests
Help identify and pivot to additional insurance needs when appropriate
Handle bank deposits and related routine administrative tasks

Social Media Management

Help manage and run the agency’s social media accounts
Create or support creation of content (posts, promos, and customer-focused updates)
Maintain a consistent posting schedule and engage with community interactions
Support brand presence and help promote agency services

Required Qualifications

Coachable and willing to learn new systems and processes
Outgoing and comfortable communicating with customers
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Basic comfort using social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram, etc.)

Insurance experience is not required.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles
Familiarity with insurance terminology or willingness to learn quickly
Basic social media skills (content scheduling, posting, engagement)
Experience with banking/deposit processes or administrative systems
