Full Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering high-quality meals to our customers. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development
- Cook and plate dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the kitchen manager
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Assist with catering events as needed

Skills:
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry is preferred
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe development
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
