ATT Metrology Solutions is seeking an Entry Level Measurement Engineer to support reverse engineering and tooling digitization projects for aerospace manufacturing customers.
In this role, you will transform high‑resolution scan data into accurate CATIA models representing the as‑built condition of aerospace tooling, fixtures, and assemblies. Your work will support tooling validation, redesign, and lifecycle management.
This role is well suited for engineers who enjoy complex geometry, working with scan data, and supporting aerospace manufacturing programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert 3D scan data into accurate CATIA V5 surface and solid models.
- Develop CATIA CATPart deliverables representing aerospace tooling geometry.
- Build models aligned to aircraft coordinate systems such as waterline and fuselage station.
- Support tooling validation, redesign, and lifecycle extension programs.
- Collaborate with metrology teams to ensure models reflect measured data.
- Execute advanced dimensional metrology measurement and validation services across multiple industries (aerospace, auto, energy, civil, medical, marine).
- Perform reverse engineering from physical components, developing accurate CAD models and supporting product redesign or lifecycle extension.
- Conduct measurement data analysis, uncertainty evaluation, and conformance reporting to ensure traceable and reliable results.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define measurement strategies, GD&T inspection plans, and process validation protocols.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation including standard work, protocols, and customer deliverables.
- Stay current with emerging dimensional metrology technologies and integrate forward-thinking solutions into customer projects.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives, expanding the range of metrology services ATT provides.
Travel Expectations
Up to 75% travel may be required to support scan data collection and customer collaboration.
