Guest Services Agent – The Market Pavilion Hotel

Join the team at The Market Pavilion Hotel, Grill 225, The Pavilion Bar, and Cafe Pavilion, where we set the standard for hospitality in Charleston. As a Guest Services Agent, you will be the primary representative for guests, ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay. You’ll be the first impression of the hotel, requiring a guest-focused attitude, energy, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and general inquiries.
Provide information about the hotel, city attractions, tours, and dining.
Process new reservations for hotel stays and dining at Grill 225.
Maintain detailed guest information in hotel and dining software systems.
Follow protocols for guest reservations and ensure guest needs are satisfied promptly.
Assist during high-demand periods across various Front of House areas, including the hotel front door, bell services, and Cafe Pavilion.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in a Guest Services, concierge, or customer service role.
A proven work history with at least 1 year at a previous employer.
Strong attention to detail, guest service-driven, and the ability to follow structured procedures.
Versatility to assist in other areas during high-demand periods.

Schedule Flexibility:

Full-time candidates with flexible availability (weekdays, weekends, and holidays) will be prioritized.
Shifts range from 7am - 3pm or 3pm - 11pm.

Compensation:

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience.
Complimentary personal vehicle parking (compact cars only) with occasional exceptions.
Weekly incentives and monthly bonus pay.
Complimentary meals for staff.
