Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse and ensuring timely order fulfillment. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for various tasks related to order picking, shipping, and retrieval.
Duties
- Load and unload aircraft parts from warehouses both onsite and remote
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards and company policies
- Participate in shipping, including preparing packages for shipment and verifying the accuracy of the parts
-Participate in possible cleaning of aircraft parts, warehouse rows, and warehouse yard
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff members to achieve team goals
- Assist in inventory retrieval, including withstanding temperatures to obtain parts from onsite and remote locations
-Participate in learning new things to help achieve overall goals
-Lifting at least 50 lbs at any given time
-Corresponding with others, as well as management in a timely, effective, and respectful manner
-Research a variety of different parts in warehouse, possible locations of machinery mechanics, tools used for onsite work, exc.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
-Prior forklift experience
-Computer literacy in research
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and move heavy packages and materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with other team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines
