Order Fulfillment Associate – E-Commerce (Picker/Packer)
Valley Pool & Spa Distribution Center – Belle Vernon, PA
The E-Commerce Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing direct-to-consumer (DTC) customer orders for shipment. This role supports our online sales team by pulling inventory, packaging products, and ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately and efficiently. Products range from smaller items that require careful packaging to larger products such as pool ladders, spa steps, and other oversized items that require proper handling and preparation for shipment.
No prior fulfillment experience is required—we will provide full training for the right individual. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to grow with a company and build a career in e-commerce fulfillment, with opportunities for advancement over time.
What You’ll Do:
· Pick customer orders accurately using picking tickets
· Pull inventory from inventory locations
· Package a variety of products, from small items to larger products such as pool ladders, spa steps, and other oversized items
· Pack products in appropriately sized shipping envelopes, boxes, or other appropriate packaging
· Label packages for shipment
· Palletize packages for carrier pickup
· Maintain a clean and organized shipping area
· Monitor shipping supplies and alert management when supplies need to be reordered
· Assist with returns processing and restocking
· Complete end-of-day shipping procedures
What We're Looking For:

- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Basic computer and math skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Must wear steel-toe work boots or shoes (company reimbursement provided)
- Ability to work on your feet for the majority of your shift
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, walk, and lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 65 pounds independently, with assistance available for heavier or oversized items
- Ability to retrieve merchandise of varying sizes from different heights using moving stairs and reach tools
- Ability to read picking tickets, labels, and product information with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to work in an environment with some variance in temperature, dust, and noise levels
- Forklift and/or order picker experience preferred; candidates must be willing and able to learn to operate warehouse equipment as needed for the role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or fulfillment experience
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday daylight shift: 7:50 AM – 4:40 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Approximately 3–4 hour Sunday shifts are required during May and June. During our busiest season (April–July), occasional later Monday hours may be needed based on order volume.
Compensation:
$15–$16 per hour
Time-and-a-half pay for hours worked over 40 in a week
