Full Job Description

Step into a rewarding role assisting students in their communication development as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This contract opportunity offers 15 hours per week and is available for an immediate or January start, extending through the end of the school year. You’ll make a direct impact in a supportive educational setting, benefitting from onsite SLP supervisors and a flexible weekly schedule.

Key Qualifications:

Active SLPA license required
Experience in school-based or pediatric Speech-Language Pathology settings preferred
Ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment
Strong organizational and communication skills
Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language intervention services under the guidance of an onsite SLP-CCC supervisor
Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy activities tailored to student needs
Document student progress and assist with reporting for compliance and parent communication
Support teachers and staff in fostering student communication in classroom environments
Adapt activities and materials to maximize student engagement and therapeutic outcomes
