Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
GVC Mortgage, Inc. is seeking a Loan Closing Specialist to accommodate the closing of real estate loans. The ideal candidate will must have attention to detail, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Preparation of loan documents including (promissory notes & deeds of trust)
· Compiling closing documents
· Communicating with title companies and loan officers
· Ensuring all terms of loans are incorporated in closing documents
· Ensuring closing conditions are met
· Ensuring loans are closed within appropriate time frames
· Ensuring loans are closed compliance with company policy, audit procedures, and government regulations
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Experience in mortgage lending, closing, title, escrow, or related field preferred
· Possess a thorough understanding of loan processing, escrow, and closing procedures
· Knowledge of real estate lending and documentation
· Proficient in lending software such as Encompass
· Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
