Job Summary:
We are looking for a lead flooring installer to join our team. Flooring installation experience is required for this position with enough experience to work on a projects without much guidance required. As one of our flooring installers, you will be responsible for installing hardwood, luxury vinyl, and laminate. Experience with sand and finish hardwood is a plus. We specialize in high end residential remodel work, so attention to detail and good communication skills are crucial to this position.
We are looking for detail oriented installers with a positive attitude that want to learn and grow in the company. We take pride in our work and are looking for individuals who feel the same.

Duties:
- Install various flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, and luxury vinyl plank
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Prepare subfloors by removing existing flooring, leveling surfaces, and repairing any damage
- Use hand tools and power tools to install flooring materials
- Apply adhesives, nails, or staples to secure flooring materials in place
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of flooring materials
- Trim excess material and finish edges as needed
- Clean up work area and remove debris throughout the day and at the end of every work day.
Skills:
- Proven experience in flooring installation or related carpentry work
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and installing flooring materials
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and their installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints for accurate installation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges during installation.
