Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Dance & Gym Teacher to inspire students through movement, music, and physical activity. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching dance and gym, possess excellent classroom management skills, and have experience working with younger age groups. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape young minds through engaging dance routines, gymnastics exercises, and creative arts instruction in a vibrant learning environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive dance, gymnastics, and physical activity curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels
Lead engaging dance classes that incorporate choreography
Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
Guide students in developing their skills in dancing
Maintain safety standards during all activities, including gymnastics exercises and movement-based lessons
Keep detailed records of student attendance

Skills

Proven classroom management abilities to foster a respectful and motivating environment
Knowledge of teaching dance and gym to preschool children
Familiarity with choreography and dance instruction techniques for various styles
Childcare experience combined with early childhood education knowledge for preschool or kindergarten settings
