Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Operations Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in Temecula, CA. This role supports a fast-paced corporate accounting environment and is ideal for someone who enjoys high-volume accounting operations, process improvement, documentation, and cross-functional support.

The Accounting Operations Analyst will help maintain accurate financial records, support reconciliations, assist with close activities, and contribute to stronger accounting processes across banking, accounts payable, payroll, reporting, and general accounting operations. This opportunity offers long-term stability, supportive leadership, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to become a trusted resource across multiple accounting functions.

This is a strong fit for an accounting professional who values structure, accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The environment is well-suited for someone who wants to grow within accounting operations while contributing to process consistency, training, and reliable financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile financial and banking accounts to support accurate accounting records.
Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
Support reporting, vendor communication, discrepancy research, and issue resolution.
Develop, update, and standardize SOPs, training guides, manuals, and process documentation.
Assist with onboarding and refresher training for accounting team members.
Cross-train across accounting, banking, accounts payable, payroll, and reporting to provide departmental coverage as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Direct hire opportunity.
Salary range: $65,000 to $70,000 per year.
Location: Temecula, CA.
