Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization with passion, purpose, and strategic insight. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of organizational operations, ensuring that our mission to prevent abuse through education, offering support services, and providing essentials like diapers and baby supplies to families in need. Your leadership will inspire teams, foster community partnerships, and drive sustainable growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Duties

In partnership with the board and staff, align the organization around a compelling vision for the future, one that we can rally stakeholders and donors around as we secure resources, human and financial to support our work.
Using the power of storytelling to ignite and kindle the passion for our mission with all organization stakeholders - staff, board, volunteers, donors - propelling them to invite people to join in our work.
Develop goals, strategies and tactics in the form of annual plans as a key roadmap that introduces an accountability component to the strategy we develop
Manage overall organizational operations, including program development, implementation, and evaluation
Supervise administrative and program staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence and continuous improvement
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, funders, and service recipients from underserved communities
Oversee budgeting processes, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability
Serve as the fundraiser in chief of the organization, setting fundraising strategy and responsible for working with staff, board and volunteers to identify prospects and close gifts.
Develop new programs that address emerging community needs while promoting inclusivity and access for all clients

Qualifications

Strong background in relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and community outreach
Extensive 501c3 administrative experience including budgeting, grant writing, staff supervision, and program oversight
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing technical projects or programs within social services or behavioral health sectors
Excellent team management skills with a track record of supervising diverse teams of staff and professionals
Proven success working with a Board of Directors with the ability to cultivate, partner with and engage board members to achieve strategic goals
Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to business planning
Ability to navigate complex organizational environments while maintaining transparency and accountability
