Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be instrumental in translating conceptual ideas into precise technical drawings and 3D models that drive successful project execution. Your expertise in CAD software and building information modeling (BIM) tools will help ensure designs meet both aesthetic and functional standards, while adhering to strict building codes and construction requirements. Responsibilities

Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, Rhino3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, and SolidWorks.
Create accurate construction detail documentation that aligns with project specifications and building code compliance standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce schematics, system designs, and interior layouts.
Utilize building information modeling (BIM) tools to facilitate integrated project workflows and improve design coordination.
Assist in conducting building code analysis to ensure all designs meet local regulations and safety standards.
Support the development of graphic design elements for presentations or client proposals when needed.
Contribute to system design projects involving mechanical or structural components with precision 3D CAD modeling expertise.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, Rhino3D (including Grasshopper 3D), SketchUp, Bluebeam, SolidWorks, and 3ds Max.
Strong knowledge of construction detail documentation and construction experience across various project types.
Expertise in building code analysis and ensuring design compliance with relevant regulations.
Skilled in 3D modeling software for creating detailed visualizations and BIM models.
Ability to interpret architectural schematics, engineering drawings, and technical specifications accurately.
Experience with graphic design principles applicable to technical drawings or presentation materials.
Familiarity with interior design concepts, mechanical design considerations, and system layout planning.
