Full Job Description

Fast Paced customer service a MUST! Must be able to learn and adapt quickly. Must be able to multi-task cheerfully.

Full Time position, schedules Mon - Fri between 7AM and 6PM
Dual Role - Front Office and Patient Care duties
Starting hourly pay at $17.40

Candidates should have the following:

Interest in Physical Therapy or medical career - PREFERRED
Medical Front Office experience - PREFERRED
Enthusiasm, high energy and a good conversationalist- REQUIRED
Organizing skills - REQUIRED
Computer skills, especially MS Word & Excel - REQUIRED
Current CPR certification required; employee is responsible for maintaining active certification for the duration of employment.
Current tuberculosis (TB) test required; employee is responsible for maintaining in accordance with state guidelines for the duration of employment.

VibrantCare is currently seeking an engaging and energetic Physical Rehabilitation Front Office/Tech for our Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic in our high patient volume PINOLE clinic. Excellent opportunity to be an ACTIVE part of a healthcare team that is dedicated to the patients and community they serve.

The Physical Therapy Aide position is an essential component of the clinical rehabilitation team. The skills and knowledge obtained working along-side our expert clinicians will help develop the foundational skills and professional understanding necessary to take that next step in exploring a career as a PT/OT/PTA/OTA.

Essential Functions:

Assist the PT/OT with both patient-related and non-patient related tasks

Non-Patient related tasks may include:

Patient Chart creation
Copay collection
Report Generation
Other "office" type tasks as needed
General cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of therapeutic and gym equipment and high-touch surfaces
Laundering and refreshing of linens
Participation in emergency preparedness drills and exercises
Participation in compliance-related education and training
Participation in quality assurance activities

Patient-related tasks may include:

Assisting the PT with patient transportation/transfers and gait training
Assisting the PT/OT with set-up and application of thermal and electrical modalities
Assisting the PT/OT with supervising therapeutic exercise programs
Assisting the PT/OT with the assembly and production of hard copy and digital home exercise programs
