No prior experience in AI is required—your legal expertise is what matters most.
This opportunity is ideal for U.S.-qualified Corporate Attorneys with experience at leading law firms specializing in M&A, private equity, capital markets, and corporate law. You'll leverage your legal knowledge to help improve AI systems through high-quality legal analysis, drafting, and review.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and annotate complex legal documents related to mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets.
- Evaluate hypothetical and real-world commercial litigation scenarios, providing well-reasoned legal analysis.
- Draft and refine agreements, contracts, and corporate governance documents for AI training datasets.
- Deliver clear, accurate, and detailed written feedback on legal issues.
- Explain complex legal concepts in a concise manner for both legal and non-legal audiences.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews to ensure legal accuracy and consistency across project deliverables.
- Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and cross-functional teams to support evolving project requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Recent experience as a Corporate Attorney at a leading U.S. law firm, preferably an AmLaw 100 firm.
- Strong expertise in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, and commercial litigation.
- Excellent legal research, drafting, analytical, and contract review skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, project-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with legal technology, document review, or AI-related legal projects.
- Experience performing quality assurance or rubric-based legal evaluations.
- Interest in applying legal expertise to emerging AI technologies.
