Full Job Description

Muse Laser Medspa is hiring an Operations Manager to run daily operations across our three Chicagoland locations — Wicker Park, Rolling Meadows, and Downers Grove. You'll report directly to the owner and manage our location managers.

About the scale: three locations sounds bigger than it is. Each one is a boutique studio with a small team, and you'll know everyone by name within two weeks. There's no middle management and no approval committees — when you decide something changes, it changes that week. Real authority, immediate impact, and a business that's still being built.

What you'll do:

Manage our location managers across all three sites — weekly priorities, 1:1s, and accountability
Resolve daily issues the same day: staffing gaps, scheduling conflicts, client concerns, equipment problems, supply shortages
Own hiring, onboarding, and training for front desk and clinical staff
Track and improve the numbers that matter: revenue per location, provider utilization, consultation-to-treatment conversion, rebooking rate, membership sales, and labor cost
Build and enforce consistent standards across all three locations
Support the owner directly on weekly priorities, projects, and management reporting
Manage vendors, equipment servicing, and product inventory

What we're looking for:

Experience managing multiple locations, or managing other managers
A track record of accountability to revenue and labor targets
Strong organization — you follow through without needing reminders
Comfortable learning a booking and POS system (we use Mangomint) and working in spreadsheets
Able to travel between our three locations on a regular basis
Backgrounds we welcome: med spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, dental, veterinary, optometry, fitness, salon, or multi-unit retail

Preferred:

Aesthetics or medical spa experience
Illinois med spa licensing and compliance knowledge
Russian, Ukrainian, or Spanish — a significant portion of our clients and team communicate primarily in these languages

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
