Full Job Description

Norris FurnitureInteriors, a luxury furniture and interior design company in Naples, FL is seeking a Design Assistant to support our top Interior Design Consultants!

If you are an individual with a positive disposition, who is passionate about style, loves luxury furnishings and accessories, has a key eye for detail, we would like to hear from you! The ideal candidate for this role is polished, extremely organized, tech savvy, reliable, resourceful, flexible, and has excellent communication skills!

Responsibilities:

Research and verify pricing of product
Identify and obtain fabrics and finishes
Order sample materials from vendors
Assist with preparing presentations
Monitor and follow up on delivery of goods
Confirm appointments as needed
Following-up with purchase orders
Liaison between the designer and operations
Provide administrative support as requested

Requirements:

High level of creativity, innovative thinking, and problem solving
Strong interpersonal communication skills; verbal, listening and written
Collaborative and professional work ethic
Strong attention to detail

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 3 years' experience working in an administrative role
Professional appearance and demeanor
Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills
Computer skills and proper phone etiquette
Ability to work in a fast paced, highly professional environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Prior retail furniture and/or interior design industry experience a plus

This position is ideal for an individual who would like to enter the interior design field or who is experienced and thrives in an administrative support role. This opportunity is full time, 5 days a week. Opportunity for advancement for the right candidate.
