About The Crust Pizza

We are a family-owned restaurant that opened our first store in 2014. We are proud to say that after over 10 years, we still hold the title of one of Naples' most popular restaurants. Our unique house-made pizza, with its light, fluffy, crispy-bottomed crust, and abundant edge-to-edge toppings, has earned us a loyal base of regular customers there. In addition to our pizza, we also offer guests oven-baked subs and fresh salads with house-made dressings. We offer all of this in a clean, beautiful, contemporary environment built from the studs out.

We believe very strongly that if a restaurant is not focused on being clean, health code compliant, and well-maintained, it simply cannot exceed the expectations of our staff and guests. About the Position

As an hourly kitchen supervisor, you will work closely with the General Manager, front of house supervisors, and ownership to ensure the back of house runs at max efficiency with our high quality-of-service, quality-of-product, and cleanliness standards.

-We require open availability from our supervisors as well as the ability to work at least 40 hours a week, often times more depending on the time of year.

-You will have Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day off.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen line and responsibilities of line cooks.

- Oversee the daily operations of the prep kitchen and responsibilities of prep cooks.
- Ensure excellent quality of product and maximize efficiency by training and supervising back of house staff.
- Manage line set ups and place employees in positions to succeed.
- Do daily health preparedness walk-throughs of the entire kitchen, including temp checks, quality control checks of all products on hand, and overall cleanliness checks.
- Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the back of house area.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and order product as necessary.
- Place necessary orders in a timely manner.
- Effectively handle disputes, if they should arise, between employees under your supervision.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and pleasant dining experience for all guests and a safe and pleasant workplace for all employees.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in kitchen management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation procedures.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Not required but highly preferred:

- Ability to speak and understand Creole.

- Ability to speak and understand Spanish.
