Office & Accounting Manager

About the Position

We are a growing livestock mineral manufacturing company looking for an experienced, dependable, and organized Office & Accounting Manager to oversee the day to day administrative and financial operations of our company.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently and takes ownership of their responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial

Prepare and send customer invoices
Manage accounts receivable and customer accounts
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers regarding past-due accounts
Receive and record customer payments
Enter and pay company bills
Manage accounts payable
Maintain accurate accounting records
Assist management with financial reports and information
Work with the company's outside accountant as needed

Payroll & Human Resources

Process company payroll
Maintain employee personnel records
Handle new-hire paperwork and onboarding
Maintain employee time and attendance records
Help ensure required HR documentation is kept current

Office Administration

Answer phones and assist customers
Communicate with customers, sales representatives, vendors, and employees
Maintain customer and company records
Assist sales representatives with customer information and account questions
Assist management with administrative tasks
Maintain an organized and efficient office
Handle other administrative responsibilities as needed

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes ownership and gets things done. We want someone who would be comfortable calling a customer about an overdue account, making sure bills are paid on time, handling payroll accurately, keeping employee records organized, working with numbers and accounting software, communicating professionally with customers and vendors, and managing multiple responsibilities at the same time.

Qualifications

Required:

Computer skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail
Professional communication skills
Ability to work independently
Dependable and trustworthy

Preferred:

QuickBooks experience
Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Manufacturing, agriculture, livestock, or related industry experience

A college degree is not required. We value practical experience, dependability, organization, creativity, and the ability to take responsibility for the job.

Compensation

$50,000–$60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Exceptional candidates with significant relevant experience may be considered above the posted range.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday

On-site position

Typical hours: 8:30am-5pm
