At Abide Home Care, our mission is to provide compassionate, dependable care that allows our clients to remain safe and independent in their homes. We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator with strong leadership, organizational, and operational skills to support and help grow our South Central Georgia region.

This position that plays a critical role in the day-to-day success of our office by overseeing scheduling, caregiver support, recruiting, and administrative operations. The Operations Coordinator reports directly to the Operations Manager and works closely with leadership to ensure exceptional client service and operational excellence.

Position Summary

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the office while ensuring clients receive exceptional care and caregivers receive the support they need to succeed. This position requires a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Services

Respond to new client service inquiries.
Follow up with prospective clients and families.
Schedule client assessments.
Enter and maintain accurate client information within scheduling software.
Support client satisfaction and long-term client retention.

Scheduling & Staffing

Coordinate and manage caregiver schedules.
Maintain accurate scheduling records and updates.
Ensure appropriate caregiver coverage for all client shifts.
Monitor scheduling changes and communicate effectively with staff.

Recruiting & Human Resources

Assist with recruiting, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding caregivers.
Coordinate employee orientation and ongoing training.
Maintain employee personnel files and client records.
Assist with employee benefits administration.

Office Operations

Maintain confidential employee and client files.
Keep staff manuals and operational documents current.
Coordinate employee and client recognition efforts including birthday, sympathy, and appreciation cards.
Maintain operational systems and ensure accurate documentation.

Marketing Support

Assist with marketing initiatives and community outreach.
Prepare marketing materials and promotional items.
Support referral relationship management and community events as needed.

Administrative Support

Provide weekly operational updates to leadership.
Assist other departments as needed to support company goals.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

QualificationsRequired

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), email, internet applications, and scheduling software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Valid Georgia driver's license.
Reliable transportation for local travel.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform occasional bending, kneeling, and standing.
Ability to meet attendance expectations and deadlines.

Preferred

Associate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Previous experience in home care, healthcare, medical office management, or operations.
Leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with scheduling, payroll, billing, or healthcare administration.
