Full Job Description

The Transporter shall be responsible for tasks needed to assist clinicians and case management of The Sanctuary Foster Care Services and will directly report to the Branch Manager. This is a part time position approximately 15 hours per week may be up to 25 hours per week.

List of Duties

· Provide transportation for children who receive services.

· Assist community relations in delivery of items or picking up items.

· Assist other departments with needs when not transporting children.

· Administrative duties as needed.

· Scan and upload paperwork.

· Maintain map boundaries for family placement.

· Communicate effectively with families, and employees for timely pick up and drop off.

· Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences.

· Maintain client and employee confidentiality and other confidentiality laws.

· Assist with networking and agency promotion.

· Complete additional duties or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

· Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.

· Must carry a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and have a good driving record.

· Experience in childcare.

· Experience in hospitality, events, or ministry.

· Must be at least 21 years of age.

· Must have the ability to work flexible hours.

· Must be able and willing to comply with all state, federal and local regulations

· Community Health Worker experience preferred.

· Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment both with others and independently. 

· Must have/be able to obtain pediatric and adult CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of being hired.

Additional Requirements 

· Must have reliable transportation for use in transporting children (mileage reimbursement is provided).

· Must live within 30 minutes of the office.

· Must attend in-service workshops and training programs and participate in agency activities and development initiatives as assigned. 

· Must become familiar with, understand, and uphold all confidentiality and abuse reporting requirements as dictated by law. 

· Must have excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and overall management/administrative skills. 

· Must demonstrate ability to analyze and think critically. 

· Must be flexible, have good judgment and possess good time management skills. 

· Must comply with all agency standards. 

· Must represent The Sanctuary Foster Care Services, clients and family members with the highest degree of integrity, professionalism, and honesty at all times. 

· Must be willing to carry out the mission and vision of The Sanctuary Foster Care Services, support the growth of the agency and carry out the established goals effectively. ned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 per hour
