The Natchitoches Parish Extension Office is looking for an Administrative Coordinator 3 with excellent customer service and organizational skills. For more information please visit: Natchitoches Parish.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

As an Administrative Coordinator 3, you'll help create a positive first impression for every person who walks through our doors. In this role, you will:

Perform and coordinate routine administrative activities including records management, requisitions, purchase orders, check requests budgeting, travel, risk management, inventory, mail, communications. etc. (40%)
Compiles, maintains, and distributes correspondence, publications, and other materials for parish programs. Maintains display board of publications. Prepares newsletters for distribution. Event planning that includes reservations, registrations, preparing certificates/trophies/ribbons, etc. for parish programs. Assists with maintaining websites and social media accounts. (30%)
Compiles and maintains mailing lists and databases of participants/clientele for program areas. Maintains records of assigned programs and prepares reports as needed. (15%)
Assists with presentations, meetings, events and workshops. (15%)

- Displaying Expertise: The ability to exhibit specialized skills or knowledge gained from experience or training
- Managing Resources: The ability to ensure resources such as time, money, and people are utilized appropriately to result in maximum business value.
- Using Data: The ability to use relevant and valid data to inform a recommendation for action.

Position-Specific Details:

Appointment Type: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Some nights and weekends may be needed.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
Location: Orleans Parish Extension Office, Natchitoches La.
This position is not eligible for remote employment.
