Skilled Laborer I

Are you looking for a new challenge with a dynamic and growing company? Look no further! PSC Construction is seeking a Skilled Laborer I to join our team.

Job Description:

Safe operation of hand and power tools
Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing
Dig ditches or trenches, backfill and compact trenches using some equipment
Installation of water, sewer and storm drain piping
Load and unload building materials

Responsibilities:

Performing general labor duties as needed
Performing a variety of tasks such as digging trenches, operating heavy machinery, and assisting with construction projects
Following safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
Working closely with project managers and team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Communicate effectively with supervisors, and job site personnel

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the construction industry preferred
Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively
Strong work ethic and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team
Willingness to travel from time to time if the project requires
No criminal misdemeanors in the last 5 years or criminal felonies in the last 7 years
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Working smart phone that can be used for work purposes

Weekly Pay | Full Time + OT | $28.00 per hour
