Job Summary

Morris Laundry – Southeast Texas

Morris Laundry is looking for a motivated independent outside sales representative to help grow our commercial and residential pickup-and-delivery laundry business throughout Southeast Texas.

This is a commission-based independent sales opportunity with a heavy emphasis on acquiring recurring commercial accounts. Commission-only independent contractor opportunity. The annual range shown is estimated earning potential and is not guaranteed compensation.

The ideal person is comfortable getting out into the community, walking into businesses, speaking with owners and managers, identifying opportunities, and building relationships.

PRIMARY FOCUS: COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS

Our biggest growth priority is businesses and organizations that generate recurring laundry volume, including:

- Hotels and motels

- Assisted living and senior living communities

- Spas and salons

- Gyms and fitness centers

- Property management companies

- Short-term rental and Airbnb operators

- Medical and wellness facilities

- Restaurants and hospitality businesses

- Businesses with uniforms, towels, linens, bedding, or other recurring laundry needs Commercial prospects may currently handle laundry in-house, use another laundry provider, or simply need additional capacity.

Morris Laundry can provide:

- Primary commercial laundry service

- Recurring pickup and delivery

- Wash, dry and fold service

- Overflow laundry processing

- Backup service during equipment failures

- Additional capacity during peak periods or staffing shortages

RESIDENTIAL SALES

Reps are also encouraged to acquire residential pickup-and-delivery customers through referrals, networking, community outreach, apartment communities, local businesses, and other prospecting opportunities.

Residential sales are an additional earning opportunity, but commercial account acquisition is the primary focus of this position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Identify businesses with recurring laundry needs

- Visit local commercial prospects in person

- Speak with owners, general managers, housekeeping managers, facility managers, property managers, and other decision makers

- Learn how prospects currently handle their laundry

- Identify problems such as staffing shortages, equipment downtime, insufficient capacity, high labor costs, poor service, or slow turnaround

- Present Morris Laundry as a primary, backup, or overflow laundry provider

- Follow up with prospects and develop long-term commercial relationships

- Generate residential pickup-and-delivery customers when opportunities arise

- Maintain your own prospect pipeline and follow-up process

COMMISSION

Commercial Accounts Earn 10% of collected revenue for the first 12 months from each commercial account you personally acquire.

Example: A commercial customer generating $5,000 per month would produce a $500 monthly commission for the rep during the 12-month commission period.

Residential Customers Earn 10% of collected revenue for the first 6 months from each residential pickup-and-delivery customer you personally acquire. Commission begins after the customer's first completed and paid service and applies only to revenue actually collected by Morris Laundry. Refunded, disputed, canceled, or unpaid transactions do not qualify for commission. There is no cap on the number of accounts you can acquire or commissions you can earn.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

This opportunity may be a strong fit if you:

- Are willing to physically visit local businesses and introduce yourself

- Can confidently speak with business owners and managers

- Are self-motivated and don't need constant supervision

- Understand relationship-based selling and follow-up

- Can build your own prospect pipeline

- Have reliable transportation

- Want compensation tied directly to the recurring business you create Prior laundry-industry experience is not required.

Experience in outside sales, hospitality, business services, healthcare sales, property management, route services, uniform services, pest control, telecommunications, insurance, merchant services, or other B2B sales is a plus.

TERRITORY

Primary territory includes Beaumont, Orange, Port Arthur, Nederland, Groves, Vidor, Lumberton, and surrounding Southeast Texas communities.

This role offers substantial flexibility. Independent representatives are responsible for managing their own prospecting activity and schedule while focusing on generating new Morris Laundry customers.
