Position Overview
We’re looking for a results-driven, senior digital media buyer who can translate business goals into data-informed media plans, then execute, optimize and report across channels. You’ll collaborate with strategists, creatives and analysts to manage budgets, scale performance and communicate clear recommendations to clients.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the development of full-funnel, channel-agnostic media strategies aligned to client business objectives.
- Lead the research and adoption of AI tools that improve efficiency and results in media buying.
- Own budget allocation, forecasting, and scenario planning; proactively optimize spend based on performance trends, seasonality, and market dynamics.
- Oversee campaign execution across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, and programmatic channels.
- Guide channel mix evolution across traditional and digital platforms including search, social, CTV, programmatic and DOOH.
- Define and lead structured testing, including audience, creative, bidding and landing page experimentation; ensure learnings are documented and scaled across campaigns and Blue Door Consulting teams.
- Own measurement strategy, including conversion tracking (GA4, GTM, platform pixels) and attribution approaches.
- Monitor pacing and performance, providing proactive optimizations and strategic recommendations that improve efficiency and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Apply and enforce brand safety, quality, and governance standards.
- Develop and deliver executive-level reporting that connects media performance to pipeline, revenue and overall business impact, including clear insights and forward-looking recommendations.
- Partner with creative, strategy and analytics consultants to ensure alignment across messaging, targeting and user experience throughout the funnel.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, privacy changes, and platform updates; proactively recommend new opportunities, pilots, and innovations that keep clients competitive.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for other Blue Door Consulting digital media buyers and clients.

Skills Sets and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in digital media buying and strategy, with expertise across paid social, paid search and programmatic channels.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize complex, multi-channel budgets while delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Strong proficiency in GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio (or similar), and advanced Excel/Google Sheets for analysis and forecasting.
- Deep platform expertise across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Snapchat, with the ability to audit, troubleshoot, and scale campaigns effectively.
- Experience with attribution models, testing methodologies and performance analysis, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations, data governance and first-party data strategies in a changing digital landscape.
- Relevant certifications (Google Ads, Meta Blueprint) are preferred but secondary to demonstrated expertise and results.
