Are you passionate about great coffee, delicious food, and creating a welcoming environment for your community? Communal Cafe, located in the heart of Nevada City, CA, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Cafe Manager to lead our team. If you have a knack for hospitality and a love for fostering connections, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

As our Cafe Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of our cafe, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Managing and motivating a team of baristas and kitchen staff.
Maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
Handling inventory, ordering supplies, and managing budgets.
Scheduling staff shifts and ensuring proper coverage.
Resolving customer inquiries and concerns with a friendly, solutions-oriented approach.
Collaborating with the team to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

What We're Looking For

We’re searching for someone with the following qualifications and skills:

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in a cafe, restaurant, or similar setting.
Leadership Skills: A natural leader who can inspire and guide a team to success.
Customer Service Savvy: A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving Ability: Quick thinking and resourcefulness to handle challenges as they arise.
Passion for Food & Coffee: A genuine love for the cafe culture and the products we serve.
