Job Title: Dietary Ambassador (Temporary / On-Call)

Job Overview:
LGC Hospitality Staffing is hiring friendly and dependable Dietary Ambassadors to support healthcare facilities and senior living communities. This is a temporary, on-call position ideal for individuals who are compassionate, customer service oriented, and enjoy providing excellent service in a healthcare environment.

As a Dietary Ambassador, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients during meal service by assisting with menu selections, delivering meals, ensuring dietary accuracy, and providing an exceptional dining experience while representing LGC professionally at client locations.

Responsibilities:

Visit patients to explain menu options and assist with meal selections
Accurately record patient meal orders while ensuring compliance with prescribed diet restrictions
Coordinate with dietary and kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared according to patient preferences and dietary requirements
Deliver meal trays to patient rooms in a courteous and professional manner
Verify meal trays for accuracy before delivery
Collect meal trays following meal service and assist with light cleanup as needed
Respond to patient questions and communicate special requests to the dietary team
Maintain cleanliness and organization of meal service areas
Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and client-specific procedures
Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work

Work Environments:

Assisted living facilities
Skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers

Requirements:

Previous customer service, dietary, food service, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide compassionate, patient-focused service
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Strong attention to detail to ensure meal accuracy and dietary compliance
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Reliable transportation to various job sites
Flexible schedule (early mornings, daytime shifts, some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed)
Professional appearance and dependable attendance

Compensation & What We Offer:
