Full Job Description

Rome Health is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile ProcessingDistribution Technician to join our team. This role ensures surgical instruments, devices, and equipment are decontaminated, sterilized, prepared, and packaged for safe patient care. We provide a supportive environment and will train the right candidate to succeed, even if certification is not yet obtained.

Key Responsibilities:

Decontaminate, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments, devices, and equipment
Inspect, assemble, and package instruments following established safety protocols
Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes
Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
Participate in flexible scheduling, including on-call, rotating weekends, nights, and holidays

Qualifications:

Required:

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols consistently
Reliable, flexible, and able to work overtime as needed
Commitment to safety and patient care
Certification by IAHCSMM or CBSPD
