Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Junior Clinician to join our dynamic mental health team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to develop clinical skills while providing vital support to individuals across diverse populations. The Junior Clinician will assist in delivering evidence-based therapies, conducting assessments, and supporting patients through their mental health journeys. This paid position is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact in behavioral health and eager to grow within a collaborative clinical environment. Responsibilities

Conduct patient intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate documentation.
Support the delivery of individual and group therapy sessions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
Assist in crisis intervention and crisis management efforts, providing immediate support during behavioral or emotional emergencies.
Participate in case management activities, including patient care planning, data collection, and medical record maintenance in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans for patients with diverse needs such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, grief, or chronic pain.
Support research initiatives by collecting data, documenting clinical outcomes, and maintaining accurate medical documentation using appropriate medical terminology.
Engage in telehealth sessions and outpatient clinic activities to expand access to mental health services across various settings. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field; graduate students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated knowledge of psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology basics, and crisis intervention techniques.
Experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or in pediatric and geriatrics settings is preferred.
Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical documentation standards.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
