IT Operations Assistant
Location: Whitehaus Collection – West Haven, CT
Schedule: Part-Time, with opportunity to transition to Full-Time
As an IT Operations Assistant with Whitehaus Collection, you will play an important role in helping us modernize our technology and improve the way our business operates. You will work alongside our IT team and collaborate with departments throughout the company to improve systems, analyze data, and streamline processes.
The position will begin part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as responsibilities and projects expand.
Technology & Business Systems
- Learn and support existing technology, software, and business systems.
- Assist with migrating systems and implementing modern technology solutions.
- Help evaluate software and systems and make recommendations for improvements.
- Assist with user access, troubleshooting, documentation, and technology administration.
- Work with outside IT when needed.
Data & Process Improvement
- Use data analytics and business analytics to identify trends, errors, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, reports, and other tools to analyze business data.
- Work with departments to identify repetitive or inefficient processes and recommend technology, automation, or workflow improvements.
- Help document and implement improved processes. Analyze inventory data and assist with improving inventory accuracy and warehouse processes.
eCommerce & Product Data
- Work closely with Marketing to maintain accurate product information across eCommerce platforms.
- Assist with adding, updating, and discontinuing products across platforms such as Build.com, Wayfair, Overstock, and Amazon.
- Manage and analyze product data, including SKUs, pricing, descriptions, specifications, and other product information.
- Assist with data feeds, integrations, EDI, and platforms.
- Help improve the processes used to maintain product information across multiple platforms.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
- Ability to occasionally move throughout office and warehouse areas.
What You’ll Need for Success:
- 5+ years of professional experience in IT, technology, data analytics, eCommerce, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to learn new software, systems, and technology quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with employees across multiple departments.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms, inventory systems, EDI, data feeds, or business integrations is a plus.
- Experience with data analytics, business analytics, process improvement, automation, or system implementation is a plus.
