Job Overview

Are you a driven recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare staffing environment? The Nurse Network is family owned and operated, and we are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Healthcare Recruiter to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment- from sourcing to onboarding and credentialing- to place top-tier nursing professionals (CNAs, LPNs, and RNs) into per diem, contract, and temp to perm assignments. You will directly impact our agency’s growth by matching clinicians with our partner facilities, including skilled nursing centers, assisted living communities, school systems, hospice inpatient and homecare settings.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively source, pipeline, and recruit qualified CNA, LPN, and RN candidates using job boards, social media, database searching, and cold outreach.
Organize and participate in virtual and in-person hiring events, job fairs, and local community networking to build a steady candidate pipeline.
Create compelling, highly responsive job postings designed to attract active and passive healthcare job seekers.
Conduct phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, availability, clinical experience, and cultural fit.
Guide nurses seamlessly through the onboarding and credentialing process (license verifications, background checks, medical clearances, and compliance documentation) to ensure swift placement.
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle, delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Minimum 1–2+ years of high-volume healthcare staffing/agency recruiting experience required (experience placing CNAs, LPNs, and RNs strongly preferred).
Industry Expertise: Familiarity with long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, and/or school system staffing needs.
Compliance Knowledge: Proven track record with healthcare credentialing, onboarding processes, and medical terminology is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.), and MS Office/Google Workspace.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, time management, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities in a fast-moving setting.
Education: High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
