This job manages the Epic application, new development, and existing production support. Manages day-to-day individual and team dynamics, work prioritization, fiscal stewardship, and all aspects of a project life cycle. Mentors and coaches on performance development and project management and makes decisions that influence the project on a large scale.

Education

Required - High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business administration or related field.

Work Experience

Required - 6 years of related healthcare or project and team management experience including two years in a supervisory/management capacity (experience should include leading large, complex system integration efforts or large software application projects).

Soft Blood Bank install and support experience

Epic Beaker AP install and support experience

Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
Strong interpersonal, partnering, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Strong budget and schedule management skills and ability to ensure the business community is engaged in the project.
Problem solving and continuous process improvement skill and ability to remain dedicated to client service.
Time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail and use good judgement and think clearly in complex, dynamic situations.
Negotiation skills and ability to work with various parties towards a mutually acceptable business solution.
Ability to work flexible schedule, such as evenings, nights, weekends, extended shifts, etc.
