Japanese-English Bilingual Credit Middle Analyst

Salary: $67,000–$80,000 + potential annual discretionary bonus

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: New York City (Hybrid)

A leading global financial institution is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Credit Middle Analyst to support daily credit operations, transaction closings, documentation, and due-date monitoring for corporate banking clients.

Key Responsibilities

Support transaction closings and coordinate contractual documentation with the Legal Department.
Work with the Back Office on post-approval processing.
Handle Standby Letters of Credit and other transaction-related requests.
Monitor expiration dates for credit facilities, guarantees, collateral, and security documents.
Track financial statement submissions and covenant compliance.
Respond to requests from corporate banking clients.

Qualifications

At least three years of experience at a corporate bank or other financial institution.
Japanese-English bilingual proficiency is required.
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
Experience in a multicultural workplace is preferred.
