About Us:
We’re not just a music school – we’re a community of passionate, talented musicians and worship leaders who love what we do! We’re dedicated to helping our students become confident performers and musicians, whether they’re working towards a big audition or just enjoying the process of learning music. As the number one vocal school in the area, we specialize in contemporary/ pop and Broadway-style vocal training, and we’re growing to include more instruments! We currently offer voice and piano lessons, and we’re excited to add guitar lessons soon.
The Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Vocal Instructor to join our growing team. This position involves teaching one-on-one private lessons for voice to students of all ages and skill levels. You will help students build strong vocal techniques, prepare for auditions and performances. Although classical music knowledge could be a bonus, our main focus is on contemporary and pop music, with an emphasis on Broadway-style vocal training as well.
Piano or guitar teaching in addition would be a bonus.
Worship leading or church music experience is a bonus too!
Responsibilities:
- Teach private lessons in voice
- Prepare students for auditions, performances, and competitions.
- Customize lessons based on students’ interests and needs.
- Provide training in healthy vocal techniques.
- Cultivate a positive and encouraging learning environment that helps students build confidence in their abilities.
- Manage Schedule
- Communicate with clients
The Ideal Candidate:
- Is an active musician or worship leader with experience performing and leading.
- Has basic music theory knowledge and can teach vocal techniques.
- Is skilled in piano for playing exercises
- Is passionate about teaching and helping students reach their musical goals.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and can connect with students of all ages (children and adults).
- Is organized, responsible, and flexible
- Has formal music training and enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- May know other instruments and be able to teach them as well.
