Full Job Description

LPN/RN Position

Comprehensive Women’s Health, a large OB/GYN medical practice, is seeking a LPN or RN to join our team. The nurse is an integral part of a team that provides high quality, efficient care to our patients. The environment is fast paced. We offer competitive salary and benefits.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Providing overall support for Physicians and office operations.

Recording health history of patient.

Educating OB patients on care during pregnancy

Instructing patients on collection of any necessary samples or tests.

Giving injections, administering prescribed medications as directed by physician and in accordance with nursing standards.

Ensuring patient chart entries are made accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintaining patient's electronic medical records.

Assisting with scheduling of tests and treatments.

Arranging referrals to a specialist and obtaining pre-authorizations when directed to.

Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary supplies and instruments.

Gives injections.

Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.

Qualifications

Education:

Current State of Florida LPN License

Current State of Florida RN License

Experience:

Prefer minimum of two years’ experience in a hospital or clinic setting but not necessary. OB/GYN experience a plus. IV experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
