Outside Optical Sales Representative – Established Multi-Line Optical Sales Reps Wanted

Michigan | Independent Optical Market

Alternative Eyewear is expanding in Michigan — and we are specifically looking for a established, multi-line optical sales representative.

This is NOT an entry-level sales position.

We are looking for experienced optical sales professionals who already have relationships with independent opticians, optometrists, optical owners, and buyers and are currently representing other frame or optical lines.

If you already have a strong Michigan territory and customer base, Alternative Eyewear can give you additional brands, programs, and sales opportunities to grow your business.

Who We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is already a successful multi-line optical sales representative.

You should have:

An established customer base within the independent optical market
Existing relationships with opticians, optometrists, optical owners, and buyers
Proven experience representing multiple optical/eye wear lines
A track record of growing territory sales
The ability to open new accounts and develop existing relationships
Strong presentation, communication, and follow-up skills
A self-motivated, entrepreneurial approach to territory management
The ability to identify products that complement your customers' current frame assortment
A willingness to actively prospect and develop new business

What You'll Be Doing

Your focus will be to:

Introduce Alternative Eye wear's brands and programs to qualified optical practices
Add incremental business within your existing customer relationships
Develop new independent optical accounts
Grow sales within existing customers
Present our pediatric, ophthalmic, sun wear, laboratory, and myopia-control solutions
Build relationships with key decision-makers
Identify opportunities where our collections can complement the lines you already represent
Consistently develop new business within your territory
