Newberry County, nestled approximately 30 minutes away from the Greenville, Spartanburg and Columbia urban areas, is in close proximity to the mountains and the beaches and is a progressive, largely rural area with a sense of history, a feeling of community, and the stability of deeply established roots.

Newberry County Memorial Hospital is looking for a full-time (32 or 36 hours per week) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, with prostate sonography experience, who performs Ultrasound imaging and procedures, checks orders/requisitions prior to performing the imaging study/procedure; provides accurate computer documentation; and monitors procedures for timely interpretation by physicians.

Requirements:

South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCQRSA) license required
Must be registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
Must have prostate sonography experience.
Vascular Experience (RVT)/ CCI (RVS) preferred
Echo (RDCS/CCI (ACS) preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
